General FAQ
Business FAQ
1. What does Fernyeu Metal do?
We are a legally licensed Class-A waste treatment provider. We mainly help companies and organizations handle electronic equipment, IT equipment, electronic components, metal materials, and related waste.
2. How are you different from a general recycling yard?
General recycling yards usually focus on resale of recyclable materials. In addition to processing, Fernyeu places greater emphasis on legal qualifications, document retention, flow tracking, and audit support.
3. Are you legally licensed?
Yes. We hold Class-A waste clearance and treatment permits, and the information can be checked through Taiwan environmental authority systems. Clearance permit: 110 Tainan Waste Class-A Clearance No. 0078. Treatment permit: 113 Tainan Waste Class-A Treatment No. 0012. We also hold R2v3, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and ISO 14064-1 certifications.
4. Do you handle general household waste?
No. We do not handle daily household garbage. Our work focuses on business waste generated by companies, such as retired computers, equipment, circuit boards, and other electronic waste.
5. What items can you handle?
Common items include computers, servers, mobile phones, printers, industrial equipment, set-top boxes, network devices, production scrap, IT equipment, electronic components, wires and cables, mixed metals, selected retired machinery, and other electronic-related waste. Please provide photos or a list for initial review.
6. Can individuals bring equipment to your facility?
Our core business is B2B service. If an individual has a request, please call first with item details and quantity so our team can assess whether the items meet intake requirements. Do not deliver items to the facility before confirmation.
7. What items can you not accept?
Items outside our permitted scope, materials with special hazards, unknown composition, or unclear sources must be reviewed first. Medical waste, chemical waste liquids, and unknown mixtures are generally outside our acceptance scope.
8. How do I know whether my items can be handled?
The simplest way is to provide photos, item names, quantity, and approximate weight. A list is even better. We will first determine whether the items can be accepted, how they should be collected, whether an on-site review is needed, and whether reporting is required.
9. Can you accept small quantities?
It depends on the item type and collection cost. Not every case can be accepted. If the volume is too small or the location is too remote, and handling cost is higher than recycling value, we may recommend using the local environmental recycling system.
10. Can valuable materials offset the handling cost?
Yes. If equipment or materials have residual metal value or recycling value, this may be used to offset dismantling, moving, collection, or treatment costs based on the actual case.
11. Can you dismantle server rooms or move equipment for companies?
Yes. For servers, server-room equipment, network devices, or other retired IT assets, we can support dismantling, moving, collection, and subsequent treatment based on the project scope.
12. Do you only accept cases in Tainan?
No. We can handle cases across Taiwan. Actual scheduling depends on project scope, quantity, and location. Overseas or cross-border cases can also be discussed separately.
13. What if the items contain hazardous substances?
These cases must be reviewed carefully. We need to confirm material type, source, and characteristics before determining whether it is within our acceptance scope and how it should be arranged.
14. How far in advance should collection be scheduled?
Timing depends on item type, quantity, location, and vehicle scheduling. If the information is complete and the case is suitable, collection can usually be arranged within 2 to 5 days after confirmation, subject to current scheduling.
15. How are fees calculated?
Fees are calculated based on equipment complexity, service requirements, and collection conditions. Phone consultation is only an initial review. Final acceptance and quotation depend on a complete list or on-site assessment and formal reply from Fernyeu.
1. Do you hold both Class-A waste clearance and treatment permits?
Yes. We hold both Class-A waste clearance and treatment permits. Clearance permit: 110 Tainan Waste Class-A Clearance No. 0078. Treatment permit: 113 Tainan Waste Class-A Treatment No. 0012.
2. When do the permits expire, and do they require renewal?
The permits are renewed according to legal requirements and are currently valid. The latest copies can be provided for review.
3. Which certification body issued your R2v3 certification?
Our R2v3 certification was issued by AMTIVO, an internationally recognized certification body. Related certificates can be provided for verification.
4. What documents are provided after each service?
Depending on project type, legal requirements, and agreed scope, we can provide intake proof, electronic waste manifest records, weighbridge tickets, proper treatment certificates, and other necessary supporting documents.
5. Are collection staff qualified for industrial safety or related operations?
Yes. We assign qualified staff according to operational needs, including Class-A waste treatment responsible personnel, waste clearance technicians, forklift operators, occupational safety and health training records, and first-aid personnel. Staff receive regular training to meet safety and environmental requirements.
6. What types of equipment or waste can you handle?
Within our permitted scope and project conditions, we can support electronic equipment, IT equipment, communication equipment, electronic components, metal materials, bonded-goods scrapping, retired assets, production scrap, line-side materials, and other electronic production-related residual materials. Actual acceptance depends on material content, site conditions, and regulatory classification.
7. How is the electronic waste manifest handled?
We handle reporting through Taiwan environmental electronic manifest systems throughout the process. Clients can retain complete manifest records for compliance and internal documentation.
8. Can documents match our ERP or procurement system format?
Yes. Within a reasonable operational scope, we can adjust report and document formats to match your internal workflow or format requirements, improving integration efficiency and reducing manual consolidation.
9. Have you served clients of similar scale?
Yes. We have served telecommunications companies, system integrators, foreign technology companies, and financial-sector clients. Due to confidentiality obligations, client names cannot be publicly disclosed, but industry case summaries or related project references may be provided when appropriate.
10. How is risk responsibility usually allocated in contracts?
Fernyeu assumes the responsibilities legally required of the treatment provider. The commissioning party is responsible for the accuracy of delivered material content, classification, and reporting information. Specific responsibility allocation is defined in the contract.
11. Can you provide one-stop handling for server rooms, offices, or plant equipment removal?
Yes. We can plan the overall workflow, including site assessment, equipment dismantling, sorting and packing, moving and collection, subsequent treatment, and document delivery. Larger or multi-site projects can be separately assessed for manpower, schedule, and execution method.

Yes. We can provide relevant certifications and explanatory materials for your internal evaluation, sustainability disclosure, or supply-chain management reference.
15. Can you support customer or investor audits of the waste treatment process?
Yes. We can support extended audit requests from clients or investors, including site visits, written questionnaire responses, and document explanations. The actual cooperation method depends on project scope, confidentiality requirements, and mutual agreement.
